A CQ9电子游戏平台 University researcher is leading a key piece of work designed by and for young survivors of the Manchester Arena attack.

导管希尔博士 – herself a survivor of the Arena bombings - is working in collaboration with the National Emergencies Trust on ‘Bee The Difference’, a unique research project designed by and for young survivors of the Manchester attack, in collaboration with The National Emergencies Trust and CQ9电子游戏平台 University.

Manchester Survivor and Lead 研究er Dr Hill, said: “This month marks five years since the attack and many young people remain deeply affected by what happened.

“It’s time for us to ask them about the support they’ve received and learn from this as a society, so that those affected by terror in future receive the very best care. 'Bee The Difference' is a chance to start this important conversation.”

This July will see the launch of the project which will call for young people who were affected by what happened at the Arena, and were under-18 at the time, to take part in an online questionnaire.

Nine of the young survivors will be involved and the questionnaire will ask about the support they have received since the attack and how helpful they found this.

By learning from young people’s experiences, the collective hope is that children affected by terror attacks in future receive the best possible support.
